Today I was chatting to someone who had done a similar trip down the west coast of Africa by motorbike.
I said, it was good to hear his enthusiasm and that he thought the trip was realistically possible.
I said to him, "most people just think we're stupid."
He replied saying, "you are stupid... but sometimes you have to be."
Though after that remark, it's good to know he definitely thought we would be able to complete the trip on two 125cc motorbikes. He said that 125's handle much better on rougher roads because they are lighter.
So the preparations and planning continue...
I have my appointment at the Passport Office in London on Thursday to get a new passport with more pages in it. After that I have to start getting my visa for India as I'm travelling there from March 21st to April 7th to teach kids photography as part of an ongoing project with Red Astronaut Photography.
