Frustration Frustration

Riding into Lusaka for me was the worst experience I could possibly imagine. The roads, full of potholes combined with darkness does not mix for a good combination at all. I lost all my memory cards, all 24 GB worth of them and all my batteries for my camera. So now, I'm down to ONE two gig card that fits a only a mere 103 photos on it and one battery.

This is frustrating! On the same ride I also dropped my camera from the motorbike and smashed the focusing lens inside my 24mm F1.4 Lens. I paid about $100 USD for a random guy in a small stall in the a remote corner of a shopping mall to open it up and fix it up. That was equally frustrating. He had no sense of cleanliness. His unwashed, dirty grubby fingers were all over the thing. I would have rather died than see this happening...

A few days on I took Luke's bike for a ride out to a river, with my luck it broke down at a police check point. For an hour I repeatedly tried kick starting it. After I realise I was going no where I managed to convince somebody to stick my bike in the back of their truck for $5 USD. Not bad I reckon for a 55km ride back into town. Here's the video:
